About Judie Dziezak

Judie Dziezak is a mentor, certified life coach, certified hypnotherapist, speaker, award-winning author, and intuitive. She draws upon the spiritual arts and her thirty-five years of experience in law, publishing, and science—along with self-taught principles—to guide people to step into their personal power, evolve into the best expression of themselves, and reconnect with their inner wisdom.

After leaving her legal career, Judie studied with a host of well-renowned, internationally respected tutors in a wide range of practices including energy work, the intuitive arts, soul work, and meditation. She integrates these teachings in helping individuals affect meaningful change in their lives, as she holds a compassionate, accepting presence.

As to her formal education, Judie has earned bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and biology from Marian University in Indianapolis, a master’s degree in food science from Purdue University, and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago.

For more than twenty years, Judie was a registered patent attorney and litigator who practiced in all aspects of intellectual property law and food and drug law. She provided winning strategy on international intellectual property law cases and had been admitted to the bar of the U.S. Supreme Court. She earned the coveted credentials of being a Certified Food Scientist and a Certified Regulatory Affairs Professional. London-based Academic Press, Ltd. invited her to author scientific articles for their Encyclopaedia of Food Science, Food Technology and Nutrition (their 1994 and 2004 editions). By invitation, she spoke before the Twelfth World Congress of Food Science, held by the International Union of Food Science and Technology.

Before launching her own law practice, from her experience in various prestigious law firms, Judie gleaned insight into how to develop authentic personal power and presence. Her experiences urged her to look within and recognize that it is not having the louder voice or being the most outspoken who wields the greatest power. She learned the value of working on her inner self, for that is what she believes we project to others. Throughout her career, when navigating challenging situations, she relied on attributes such as resilience, adaptability, self-reliance, and inner strength—gifts from her growing-up years.

Before law, Judie was a science technology writer and editor with an international publication, and before that, a food scientist and chemist. In these positions, she observed and learned how some colleagues and fellow executives acquired and asserted power. There, she also learned about presence, diplomacy, and finesse and was often called upon to help extricate, from a political morass, the male who unwittingly stuck his foot in his mouth.

An engaging speaker, Judie has addressed, by invitation, industry conferences, corporations, universities, and women’s groups.

In her free time, she enjoys Pilates, yoga, and dabbling in creative projects.
